BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has strengthened its order book with a new railway infrastructure contract from the Eastern Railway's Howrah Division, further expanding its presence in India's rail electrification sector.
The company has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the execution of 25 KV Overhead Equipment (OHE) works involving the replacement of aging guy rod assemblies across the division. The contract is valued at approximately ₹4.72 crore (₹47.23 million) and is expected to be completed within 18 months.
Commenting on the development, Chairman Aparesh Nandi expressed confidence in the company's growth prospects, citing a healthy pipeline of opportunities in the railway EPC segment. He emphasized BCPL's continued commitment to supporting rail infrastructure development and enhancing connectivity across the country, including in rural and underserved regions.
Nandi stated that the company expects a steady flow of projects driven by ongoing railway modernization initiatives, such as track upgrades, network expansion, electrification, and speed enhancement programs.
BCPL Railway Infrastructure also reaffirmed its role in supporting Indian Railways' infrastructure expansion efforts through the execution of electrification, EPC, and system modernization projects, benefiting from sustained investment in the nation's rail network.
